Brittany Whittenberg is 23 years old, living in New Orleans. Raised in southern California, Brittany moved to NOLA in 2004 and fell madly in love with the crescent city.

As far as previous training in visual arts, Brittany won honorable mention for a whale drawing when she was six years old, took an after-school drawing class in the 2nd grade resulting in a fine drawing of Aladdin, and was introduced to oil paints for a month in 7th grade. Picking up her brush again in 2006, Brittany now spends a fair amount of her free time painting. She also enjoys creative writing.


At the University of New Orleans, Brittany studies English, because being graded on her artwork would take the fun out of it. (The fun is the whole point!) To pay bills, she holds various part time jobs.

For recreation, Brittany enjoys adventures with friends, creating, reading, dancing, building up her geek XP, and cooking. She can sometimes be found in Audubon Zoo with her young niece, or sipping white wine at a restaurant on Magazine Street.
