Jason Taix
Jason is the very talented man who made my website ideas a reality! His brother and he also do many things in photography, particularly for weddings. I don't know Jason's brother personally, but if he is half as professional and patient as Jason, I want them to do my wedding one day!

Jane Talton
This lovely lady was one of the inspirations that got me painting again. I owe her a great deal! Jane can paint anything-realistic, abstract, for children, pop art, things that should be in ancient places of worship-anything. My favorite thing about Jane is her love for life. She makes you want to be a better person. She makes me a better person.

Craig Tracy
Craig Tracy's “Golden Trombone” was the very first piece of art I ever bought. I have taken every guest I've ever had from out of town to his gallery, and several of my friends now proudly own pieces Craig has done. He takes painting to a new level, using the human body as a canvas. His works are as diverse as he is, and always containing something extra that the observant eye will treasure. When it opened, Painted Alive was the first body painting gallery in the world! Go see it and meet this man.

Rene Castellon
I met Rene at the UNO English Club's Showcase, through admiring one of his pieces on display. He has only taken art classes in high school, but I swear, you'd think he had a masters degree. He does surrealism like Dali and cubism like Picasso. It's nothing short of stunning. Look under his photo albums on his facebook profile and find his paintings. Hopefully a website will be out soon to display his work!

Sandy Crawford
Sandy and I went to high school together back in the day. I learned she was a poet through her “senior project” at Cal High, and I was so glad to discover she still writes. Her poems are (if this is possible) even better now than years ago. She has bloomed into a voice that cannot be passed by. Her artworks add a layer of depth that makes one pause to catch a breath. Explore her site and take in all you can, and then go back to see her newer work as it is published.

Julie Plonk
Julie's photography first struck me at a party at her house. Her artworks bring the viewer into her world. I traveled through France in her hallway, and out into a garden in her living room. She takes the viewer to places they think they've seen, and shows them an entirely new perspective. Visit her website and see new places, even if think you've seen them before.

June Bugs
June is my aunt! She has an adorable little shop in Picayune, Mississippi. If you are a collector of a specific type on antique, or just looking for a unique gift, this is the place for you. With the economy how it is today especially, I am a huge advocate of shopping locally. If it's not found at June Bug's, she will find it for you! Bring some friends and made a little day trip out of it, allowing plenty of time to explore the wonders of this shop.

Brook Larson

Marrus
Walking in the French Quarter, as I have been known to do, I stumbled over a painting I had to own. You know how sometimes you are presented with a mirror so striking that you are surprised that you'd missed it before? That is what Marrus did for me; to me. I fell in love with “Soul Owning”, and also brought “Wrong Eyes Open” to hang in my home. After a short conversation with this woman, I knew I was in the presence of someone who has fully tasted life. Good, bad, sweet and bitter, Marrus has been there, and painted us all a glimpse of what she witnessed.

Tagged Productions
Movies! Trey Anthony Guillory acts in and directs student films. I don't know if it's been posted yet, but the Lego Treachery of Lucas is my favorite! Watch his movies and get to know Trey-he is building connections and always has a new idea he's mulling over. At the very least, you are in for an exciting conversation filled with laughs!

Libraries
I am a reader. Taking in words are images helps to fill my own creative well, and there is no place better to do this than your local library. The word scientists who work in this wonder-filled place are always chalk full of information that brims over them and out onto you! Go and find a book, a book filled only with pictures, or a quiet corner with that loved-musty-safe smell and explore your own arts.
