Painting through the series helped me, as this last piece, like the first, is more positive. About pleasure! Yay! A man does not always appear like the “Man” painting, and can be a support and an ally and more. This I liked to think of as a goal when I painted it, but now it is thankfully, reality! (Yay again!)

The childlike drawing is very clear here, and it seems more so that the other three pieces. I think that may have been because I was yet unable to feel pleasure from sex, and it was still an idea, not something I knew personally. The more clearly painted images I’d experienced myself, so they were more fixed. I think these look like they were painted in crayon or something…I like that…..
