I was sexually abused as a child, and I have a clear memory of my abuser stabbing me, and so that is where this image comes from. The male body can be just as giving and amazing as it can be harmful and dangerous.

I, thankfully, have moved past this stage in my healing. For a long time that is what I saw when I saw men: a weapon. Now I think it almost looks like a crow, with a silver beak. That I now see something so different in my own piece makes me laugh!
