Oceanography - The figure sleeps soundly underwater, a paintbrush fleur-de-lis moon and three stars shine through her ocean. What dreams does one have when immersed with life? The cool earth covers her, safeguarding her night, preparing for whatever tomorrow brings. 

I did the background on this piece about three times until it was perfect, and I loved it. Like “Dream Image”, there is a lot of texture in the background. I also was using what I planned for a tattoo and what is now my business logo, the paintbrush fleur-de-lis for the first time. Each of the stars represents faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is love. The love I now have for myself.
