The Quiet Hours - I finished this piece while watching The Hours. I was in my new apartment, freshly out of a two-year relationship. My new place was quiet and peaceful. I felt safe by myself, which was a first for me. I painted my favorite flower, a stargazer lily. The puppet at the bottom has finally gotten free. The strings haven't quite been cut, still some road to travel, but it's a step. It all starts with a step.
