Sweet Air - This was a piece done for the Heavens Above showing at The Big Top. This piece is done for the air signs, of which I only know one. One of my allies is a Libra, and he doesn’t seem to fit into too much of his sign. But I was intrigued by the idea of air as a sign, and did this piece for the air signs.

A ship sails into the piece, the sails themselves blowing air to make things move in the painting. All the yellow dots are stars, in the shape of the air constellations. Scales for Libra, with the heavier scale being higher, just because I think astrology is often ironic like that. Aquarius, the water bearer, lets water flow along the bottom left of the painting. The twins of Gemini hold onto each other atop the bookcase, where each sign thinks, knows, and balances.
